A shock winner of a beginners chase at Leopardstown over Christmas, this giant of a horse proved that was no fluke when running a perfectly respectable race behind Majborough at the Dublin Racing Festival in Grade 1 company. This looks a good opportunity for him to add another win to his CV with his main market rival dropping back to two miles for the first time since 2022. He may well have too many gears for these and with track and ground to suit I'm expecting a big run.
This is a horse I've always liked from his days over hurdles. He is a big imposing individual who looks a natural chaser. He travelled like a winner last time at this track over three miles before disappointing with his effort when he came off the bridle. This drop in trip looks like a good move and while this is a step up in class, he runs here off a featherweight of 9st 7lbs when his riders claim is factored in. I'm willing to take a chance on him at the prices. He should be competitive and with a bit of luck he won't be far away.
This is a talented daughter of No Risk At All who ran a stormer first start off a long layoff in the Grade 2 mares' bumper at Aintree last April when only beaten about seven lengths. They were going to run out an impressive winner of a maiden hurdle at Killarney earlier in the season when she fell at the last with the race at her mercy. She must be better than what she has shown to date and I'm willing to give her another chance here against the field at a bit of a price. If she puts things together, she has more talent than any of these and looks a fair each way bet to at least be in the frame.
