This big imposing seven-year-old by Arctic Cosmos has made a fine start to his chasing career with a pair of third place efforts behind the likes of Lecky Watson and Quai De Bourbon. They are two solid yardsticks and are well capable of being very decent high 140s low 150s performers on their day.

A winner of a bumper and a couple of hurdles already in his career this horse has always looked every inch a chaser and with two good experiences under his belt, now he should be able to put that valuable experience to good use and will be very hard to beat here.

This son of Walk In The Park out of a Beneficial mare has been a horse I've been following for a while now, but he remains a horse who is very well handicapped. I presume the long layoff he has had has been down to the unreasonably quick ground we've had all winter but there will be nothing quick about the ground he will encounter here.

This looks a good opportunity to bring him back and he certainly looks on a workable mark having only gotten a 3lb penalty for running from 3lbs out of the handicap last time at Punchestown in May. If Robert Tyner has him ready to go first time out which I'm confident he should have then he will be very difficult to beat.

This son of Intello has joined Elle Marie Holden from France where he had five starts on the flat without winning but he made a satisfactory debut over hurdles at Leopardstown over Christmas and if he can build on that and progress, he looks sure to go close.

Ellmarie Holden is no stranger to training nice horses having previously trained the likes on Jonbon to win his point to point. As well as that she's readying one to run into a place in the Triumph Hurdle so she's well able to get one ready. Here's hoping for a good run.
