Reading are one of those sides that you must look at their home and away form separately. Prior to the international break the Royals threw away a half time lead and slumped to a third successive league defeat on the road. At the Select Car Leasing Stadium it is a different story. Six games played this season across all competitions and five wins.

After an encouraging start to the season Crawley are in disarray. A couple of weeks ago they lost popular manager Scott Lindsey who dropped back to League Two to take over at MK Dons. Since then, the Red Devils have gone on to lose all five of the games they have played and shipped an alarming nine goals across the last two. Town have now lost nine of their last 10 fixtures and Rob Elliot looks certain to wait a little longer to pick up his first point as manager.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal

Bournemouth are usually an entertaining watch and look to play attractive, attacking football regardless of the opponent. Often performing well against teams which they are expected to beat but collapsing against the best the Premier League has to offer. Last season they picked up one point from their 10 games against the sides that finished in the top five. They lost the other four home fixtures to nil conceding 11 goals in the process including a 4-0 thrashing to Arsenal. This season the Cherries have already lost at Liverpool and here to Chelsea.

In 2024 Mikel Arteta has seen his team win 21 of 25 league games losing just once and are unbeaten in their last 12 on the road winning 10, conceding just five on their way to keeping nine clean sheets and boasting a goal difference of +28. Expect them to extend that run with another three points here.

Celta de Vigo vs Real Madrid

A sprightly start to the season has rather fallen away for Celta de Vigo who after winning their opening two league games went on to lose four of the next five. Victory at Las Palmas prior to the international break came at a cost with both Iago Aspas and Ilaix Moriba sent off and therefore suspended here.

Real Madrid also won their last game to preserve their unbeaten start in La Liga, winning six of their opening nine fixtures to sit second in the table. Los Blancos have now gone an incredible 41 league games without defeat and enjoy a recent head-to-head stranglehold over Celta. Carlo Ancelotti’s side have won all the last eight meetings across all venues. You must go back to 2014 for the last league success for the Sky Blues over their opponents here. With Kylian Mbappé rested and Vinicius Jr back in training ahead of this clash expect the visitors to have far too much firepower.
