This horse made a very pleasing debut way back in May in behind the likes of Arizona Blaze and Camille Pissarro at the Curragh in a Group Three going down by just a length and a quarter. Because of his 114-day break between then and making his second appearance of the season at Thirsk in September, I think it's fair to assume he had a setback and as a result needed the run that day.

If he has improved for the run and with experience on his side now, he should take all the stopping here.

This horse had some smart form.in maidens before a disappointing run at Cork on his third start. He subsequently got a mark of 77 which they won off on handicap debut over five furlongs here just getting up late on down the stands rail to win under hands and heels.

The step up in trip looks right up his street and I'm expecting another bold show off a 5lbs higher mark.

This horse rates a decent each way bet in here as the winner of this race last year. Since then, we've seen him win on seasonal debut again over course and distance here off a mark of 82 which is coincidentally the same mark he races off today.

He loves the track and with Colin Keane booked he won't be lacking encouragement from the saddle. Your one concern would be whether he wants the ground softer than this but at the prices I think he's worth a punt.
