This filly took her form to a new level when she danced up at York last time over an extended 10 furlongs when she travelled all over her rivals before sprinting clear when Rossa Ryan chose to push the button. Truth be told she could have won without ever coming off the bridle. I think connections have finally come to the realisation that she is a 10-furlong filly after trying to stretch her to 12 furlongs last season.

I firmly believe that she is the most talented filly in training over this distance and she would give any colt a proper run for their money over this trip in the Irish Champions Stakes come September. I'd be very bullish that she will build on York and announce herself as a real force for Group Ones for the rest of the season.

This horse ran a close second to 103 rated Sakti on debut at Dundalk back in March and has since moved yards to Ken Condon who would be considered an upgrade and you'd be expecting him to improve this son of Dandy Man as well as the horse improving for that experience he had on his first start.

Coincidentally the third who was two lengths further back that day is now a maiden winner and rated 88 for Paddy Twomey so there is strength in depth to the form and I'd be really hopeful in this small field of just five runners that he can get the job done with Billy Lee on board.

Curragh – CHARLISSE

A real unexposed type with just six career runs to his name yielding a maiden and handicap win at Dundalk over the winter and a huge run last time first run back after an 84-day break in a course and distance handicap 36 days ago. This is likely to have been the plan for some time and presuming he wouldn't have been fully wound up for his most recent run a 3lb rise shouldn't be insurmountable and the booking of John Velazquez is an interesting move from connections.

I expect him to bounce out and try make all and those tactics have so often been effective over the sprint trips at the Curragh. I think he's a very solid runner in here and given the yard he hails from we are likely to get a bigger price than we might if he was stabled elsewhere.
