Shay Given's Premier League Predictions
Shay Given's Premier League Predictions
With games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, CopyBet brand ambassador Shay Given has picked out four key clashes and shared his best bets which, when combined, would return at odds of 5/1 ACCA.
Tough game for Leicester City who are now only three points above the relegation zone and it looks like it's going to be a long season for the Foxes.
Chelsea on the other hand are sitting third in the table and are doing really well under former Leicester boss Enzo Maresca. Much better in fact than a lot of people expected at this stage.
I fancy Chelsea for all three points on the road here.
City are going through a really rough patch which you don't say very often. They've lost four on the bounce and that run started when they were defeated by Spurs in north London in the Carabao Cup.
The big news from Manchester in the last few days is Pep Guardiola's new contract and I think that'll give the players and fans a big lift. And I can see them getting back to winning ways on Saturday although Spurs will be very dangerous on the counter-attack.
City to win but lots of goals in this one.
Shay's Prediction: Ipswich Town 1-2 Manchester United
Sun 24 Nov, 16:30
Ruben Amorin's first game as the new man in charge of Manchester United so there will be plenty of eyes on this one.
It's a difficult start for the new boss with Ipswich in reasonable form fighting for their lives and having picked up that first win last time out at Tottenham.
But United are on a good run themselves with some decent results under Ruud van Nistelrooy and they'll want to get off to a great start under the new manager.
Newcastle have won three in a row so things are looking good at the Toon and I think this is going to be a really tough game for West Ham.
Under Lopetegui they are struggling a bit down in mid-table and at St James' Park under the lights it's difficult for any opponent, let alone one that is having a sticky patch like the Hammers are.
I can only see a home win here and a fairly comfortable one at that.
