Shay Given's Premier League Predictions
Once again we've tasked CopyBet brand ambassador Shay Given with giving us his best bets for the weekend's action, and this week his selections would return at accumulator odds of 22/1.
Here's something that you don't say very often, but Manchester City are going through a rough patch. They've had three defeats in a row in all competitions but I can't see them making that four.
I liked Pep Guardiola's fighting talk the other night after their loss to Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League. He said "bring it on, I'm ready for this challenge and we will bounce back".
I don't think it will be plain sailing against a very good Brighton side, but I do think City will bounce back.
This should be a cracker and I'm expecting a fantastic atmosphere under the lights at Anfield on Saturday night.
Liverpool at home are always strong, they've only lost once there so far this season, and I just think they'll have too much for Aston Villa.
Villa are having a bit of a difficult time at the moment, losing heavily to Spurs last time out in the league and getting beaten in the Champions League by Club Brugge in midweek. I don't see it getting any easier for them here.
This is a tough game for Newcastle with Nottingham Forest absolutely flying at the moment under Nuno Espirito Santo and sitting third in the table.
But I think Newcastle have picked up their level in the last couple of weeks too, obviously beating Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and then a terrific win against Arsenal at St James' Park last weekend.
So I'm going to sit on the fence here and go with a scoredraw.
What a massive game this is for both clubs. 4th versus 5th in the Premier League and Arsenal are going through a really sticky patch at the moment.
Martin Odegaard returning for the Gunners will be a big boost and they've really missed their captain in the time he's been out.
But I fancy a home victory here, especially if Cole Palmer is fit and firing for the Blues.
