He arrives here from an in-form team. The selection drops back in trip, and I’m hoping reverting to the front running tactics which saw him won on soft over seven furlongs, will be fruitful.

He was eighth in a strong Guineas, littered with Group One winners, before finishing fourth in the German 2000 Guineas. He was second, just denied, behind Topgear two starts ago, and that horse destroyed the field when they re-opposed last time out.

With the yard going well, I’m hoping different tactics, on ground he will handle, could pay off.
