Saturday Racing Tips at Navan, Aintree and Sandown | Jake Price
SA FUREUR was a Handicap fancy for many at the Cheltenham Festival, and in the end he went off 4/1f for the Grand Annual over 2m - but that trip was simply too short for him, and he ran on well at the finish for fourth.
Having had a spin over Hurdles at Navan last month he finally steps up in trip to 2m4½f over fences, and off his mark of 143 he surely has strong claims.
There has been a deluge of rain at Aintree, which suits RICHMOND LAKE perfectly considering he won this race 12 months ago in almost identical conditions.
Not only are conditions in his favour, but he's also back down to the same mark of 142 - and last month he was a very good 4th in the Grand Sefton so is in good form.
I thought that TOP OF THE BILL had a good each/way chance here, as he looks the type of Horse to me who will enjoy a marathon trip.
Last season he racked up three victories in his first season over fences, and he's quite battle hardened now having racked seven chase starts. Nigel Twiston-Davies is in good form too (24% SR, 5/21).
