Vintage Fizz is a winner in waiting, just 1lbs above his last win mark and has plenty of good efforts off higher marks lately. The test of the national track is one that looks likely to suit, and conditions will be perfect.

He was extremely well backed at Worcester in August in a very good race, despite being out of the handicap, but he bombed out and was a no show. The fact the yard expected something significantly better in that race is interesting.

Ran consistently well this season other than that however, and the booking of Connor O’Farrell usually means business for the yard.
