Royal Ascot Day 4 Irish NH Tips
Royal Ascot Day 4 Irish National Hunt Tips
An ultra impressive winner of the Prix Marcel Boussac on Arc weekend to end last season when she absolutely bolted up by five lengths, she made her return in the Irish 1000 guineas where she finished third running a very respectable race on her first start back for the season. The Aidan O'Brien runners this season have been really badly needing their seasonal debut and with that in mind a good third in a competitive Group One classic is a fair effort.
If she steps forward from that or can reproduce anything like the form, she ended last season in she will take all the beating here.
This horse was a Group Two winner on Irish Champions weekend last season at Leopardstown and seemed to be one of the best two-year-olds Coolmore had but it's fair to say this season hasn't gone to plan and they are on a recovery mission here. He was beat just a length in the French 2000 Guineas when seemingly unfancied on the day, but he went off joint favourite in the Prix Du Jockey Club where he never threatened to get involved.
I'm going to give him another chance here and say that the ground he will encounter here will see him bouncing right back to his best. He's looking a fair price to me and in what doesn't look a particularly strong field he looks a bet to me.
As some of the regular followers of these selections will know we have previous with Zaynab would did us a big favour when winning a Curragh maiden in April. She since backed up that good run with a win in a Curragh handicap off 82.
She never does things easy, and she only ever seems to land herself there on the line, but she is improving, she's thoroughly unexposed and a mark of 88 carrying 8st 7lbs on her back she looks a very solid each way bet to me at a double figure price. Fingers crossed for a big run.
