Royal Ascot Day 2 Irish National Hunt Tips

This filly by Blue Point won on debut at Naas back in May and though the form of that race hasn't worked out particularly well you would have to be the style in which she put the race to bed quickening up in a matter of strides to score easily.

She doesn't come from a fashionable yard but if she did, she would be about 7/4 for this yet we are getting 5s. I think she's set to run a huge race.

This son of Galileo got off the mark at the second time of asking at Leopardstown having made his debut behind Birdman at Cork at the end of April. He really progressed from first to second run and sprinted clear in devastating fashion at Leopardstown the last day when you couldn't but be taken by him.

I fancy he can reverse form with Birdman here with the Jessie Harrington firing in winners left right and centre the last time they net while the Aidan O'Brien runners were coming on massively for the run. In my opinion Ryan Moore has chosen the wrong Ballydoyle inmate in Illinois and I expect the aforementioned Birdman to make the frame, but Highbury is the selection.

A winner on debut at Cork beating two subsequent winners back in second and third that day this horse looked every inch a two-year-old in the parade ring. He's since ran at Tipperary and bombed out badly but that was too bad to be true and I'm more than willing to forgive him that run.

Back on a bit of nicer ground here and a big field where he can get some cover, I'm sure we will see him to much better effect and at a monster price, I think he’s worth a few quid each way.
