This horse has long been plotted up for a big flat handicap and he flew home last time in the Chester Cup from well back in the field to finish a close 3rd. William Buick takes over in the saddle which is notable and the track at Ascot will be much more up his street. Not to mention he's got a kind draw in four.

He has plenty of juice in his mark and in a race the Irish generally do well in even if we owe a lot of wins on that record to Willie Mullins, I will be disappointed if this lad doesn't go very close indeed.

They look a very fair price to me and dare I say an each way bet to nothing as I can't see him knocked out of the frame.

A talented mare in bumpers and as a novice hurdler a couple of seasons ago she made a good start to her flat career winning her first two starts last season. She has had plenty gaps in her racing the last couple of seasons so no doubt she has been difficult to keep right but they must think there's a big benefit to be had by keeping her going and this may just be the payday that makes the difference before she heads off to become a broodmare.

No doubt with Jamie Spencer on board she will need plenty luck and it will be heart in mouth stuff I think she will appreciate a quiet ride and I can see her running a huge race.
