Racing Lee's St Leger Festival Ladies Day Tips
Desert Flower has created a big impression already and can take this on route to bigger things. The first of two runs she beat Flight, who won impressively last time out. The fourth that day was Duty Free, who bolted up next time out before running a close second in a Group Three at Goodwood. Last time out the selection won by six and a half lengths at Newmarket.
She’s only had two runs compared to her main rivals having one or two more and can come forward again to land this.
Having powered to the line to win well on debut, another chance is given to An Outlaw’s Grace. Pitched into a Group Two at Chantilly on his second start, the race has turned out well. The winner was Arabie, who had won a Group Three prior to that, the second was favourite for Royal Ascot having been a previous winner and the race looked a strong one.
An Outlaw’s Grace was outpaced and stayed on in that Group Two over six furlongs, and the increase is trip is needed.
He’s worth an each-way play at the prices and can hopefully fulfil that early potential.
She won’t reach the heights of her sire Kameko, but she can hopefully get back on track in winning this. She has kept on well in all her races, and this extra half furlong will suit. She’s a pound lower than two starts back at Newmarket where she ran a staying on fourth in a strong contest.
She’s caught the eye a couple of times, and she can go close to getting back in the winner's enclosure in this.
