Racing Lee’s Saturday Racing Tips at Sandown and Beverley

A mile winner on her second start, she went on to win a Group Three on just her third outing. She returned in a Group Three at Deauville beaten a length before an eye-catching staying on fourth in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. The form of that race has worked out extremely well.

She has been third and fourth in two Group One’s since, one of them beaten a length. She drops back in trip, is best official rated, and can go close in this lower grade.

In what looks a match race against the two in-form horses, it’s Walter Hartright to come out on top.

He’s at the bottom of the weights but comes here off a four-timer and a close second last time out.

The winner has franked the form by being beat a neck in a competitive York handicap last time, and the selection is only nudged up two pounds since. He can add another win to his name in this Silver Cup.

Bolting up on debut, he looked to show plenty to work on. He powered to the line to win it well, before being pitched into a Group Two at Chantilly. The winner was Arabie, who had won a Group Three prior to that, the second was favourite for Royal Ascot having been a previous winner and the race looked a strong one.

An Outlaw’s Grace was outpaced and stayed on in that Group Two over six furlongs, and this step up to seven furlongs looks likely to suit but was all at sea in the Group Two at Goodwood over seven, before staying on strongly over six furlongs at York last time out in a 308k - 20 runner race.

He’s worth an each-way play in an open race.
