Racing Lee’s Saturday Racing Tips at Newmarket
This three-time unbeaten filly bids to back up her last time out Group One win. She’s three from three at the trip too and done it against the boys last time out. She beat my other fancy on the card in Whistlejacket.
Most impressive on debut, she learnt on her second start, and again last time out to power away at the line. She’s looked special and can take this to remain unbeaten.
He’s top-rated and the choice on Ryan Moore, he can land another Group One. He ran second to a graded winner on debut before landing a Listed race. He then ran a staying on fourth in the Norfolk at Royal Ascot, with the race looking strong enough, but the step up to six furlongs proved to be beneficial in the Group Two at Newmarket’s July meeting when he won well at the line. The third has won a Group Two since and the fifth has won a Group Three to give the form substance.
He ran second to the filly Babouche therefore and I’m hoping that form will be franked in the race prior to this one and, last time out he won the Group One Prix Morny from the Coventry winner, Rashabar.
He looks solid and can beat stablemate and jockey second string to land this.
She can make light of a five-pound rise. She won well last time when stepped up to six and a half furlongs, so this seven furlong looks the right move.
The rest need to up their game, as she has potential for more.
