Racing Lee’s Saturday Racing Tips at Newmarket and York

This course-and-distance winner can add another win and make it three-from-three. Creating a good and solid impression on his debut win, he stepped up a furlong to this trip and win it easily, even when things didn’t go to plan A.

I think he has potential for a lot better, and hopefully can show it here for his in-form yard.

Although somewhat disappointing on his latest start, he’s on a good mark to strike and can go close off a two-pound lower mark than last time out.

He’s a course winner and was a head second off a mark of 104 over the course-and-distance, and now competes off one of his lowest for a long time off 92.

Let’s hope that going back to a track he likes can perk him up for a good run.

Dropped back to seven furlongs, with the very capable Joe Leavy taking off five pounds, he should run a competitive race. Last week I wrote how he has been competing in good handicaps of late, only for his intended race to be abandoned.

Last time out he was seen running fourth of his group at Royal Ascot in the Royal Hunt Cup, beaten around nine lengths total. He had been third to Sonny Liston prior, who was just beat in that Royal Ascot race off a big weight.

This is ultra-competitive as always, but he’s still on a workable mark with Joe taking off his claim. Worth an each-way play.
