She was unlucky not to win or at least be closer in last year’s Grand Annual. Only for belting at least two fences, she would have gone close, but her jumping has been brilliant this season, as showed when winning the Grade One Dublin Chase two runs back.

She finished a gallant second to an on-form El Fabiolo, and can take the step up in trip in her stride to show her class edge.

Having won a two-mile seven soft ground maiden, he’s stepped up to run Slade Steel half a length second in a Grade Two race over two-mile four. He was then staying on again for third in the Lawlor's Of Naas. If he can brush up his jumping, he will be battled hardened from the graded races, stays well and likely over-looked in regard to the other Mullins horses.

He also ran in the Champion Bumper when he was smashed to bits in a rough race, but still stayed on for fourth. Ahead was Grade One winner Fact To File.
