Raceolly’s Saturday Racing Tips at Ayr and Newbury

Austrian Theory has become very well handicapped of late and creeps into this running off 9lb below his last win mark from Epsom last year. They have run well above his form figures consistently this season and hasn’t had much luck in some hot handicaps and ideally finds himself tumbling down the handicap at the same time.

They have run well at the track his only previous start when beaten a length in fourth beating a few next time out winners. They have all the right tools to run a big race in this.

Four-time winner Sergeant Pep catches the eye in this ultra-competitive handicap. He won nicely at Haydock in July despite being badly hampered and had excuses last time when coming out awkwardly at the start and being lit up throughout after that and failing to settle.

He is far better than that effort and the way this race will be run will suit very well. Has ran well off this mark before and any rain will be a huge help.

I must give Billboard Star another chance after he was very well backed last time only to be badly hampered at a crucial time. He was unlucky not to go closer again the time before in a Group Two at Goodwood also when once again squeezed out at the finish and beaten a length.

He ran a huge race before that chasing home Group One winner Whistlejacket at Newmarket. He is hugely overpriced all things considered.
