Alexander Isak was the man of the match in the first leg, putting Newcastle in front in the 37th minute courtesy of a smart finish from inside the box. Having scored 11 goals in his last nine games for Newcastle, he is in supreme goal scoring form at the moment and his team's 2-0 lead means Arsenal will have to push numbers forward, which will mean a lot of empty spaces for Isak to run in to.
As mentioned in my first selection, this bet is based on the idea that Arsenal need to go all-out attack to try and pull off a comeback from 2-0 down. Considering Newcastle's dominance at home, I expect them to be leading on aggregate at halftime, which will force Arsenal to push a lot of numbers forward and provide Newcastle with chances on the break. With players like Gordon, Isak & Murphy up front, supported by the likes of Bruno & Tonali, I expect them to take advantage on the break.
Another selection that is taken due to the current scoreline. Considering the gunners will be doing most of the attacking to try and reduce the 2-0 deficit, I expect them to get the most corners. They are also incredibly strong from set-pieces so their wingers will try and get them those opportunities. This bet also won comfortably in the first leg, with Arsenal winning the corner count 11 to 1.
