This is a selection I have backed a lot this season, and Salah just continues to deliver the goods. He is having an unbelievable season with 32 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions and a staggering 27 goals in 29 league appearances.

In his two appearances against Newcastle United this season, he has scored two goals and assisted twice. Considering Newcastle have their first choice left-back Lewis Hall out for the rest of the season, Salah will have plenty of chances to get on the scoresheet again. He will also be on penalties for Liverpool.

Alexander Isak is averaging 1.46 shots on target per 90 minutes for Newcastle this season. He is Newcastle's main man with 19 league goals in just 25 appearances this season.

He scored the opening goal of the game the last time he came up against Liverpool, and with Liverpool also struggling with defensive injuries (Trent out & Konate doubtful), Isak to get a shot on target looks like a great spot here.

Newcastle have managed to hit at least two corners in 11 of their last 12 games in all competitions. Coming up against Liverpool twice so far this season, they have cleared the over 1.5 corners line in both those meetings and considering there is a very high chance Liverpool will be leading at some point, Newcastle will need to push hard to get back into the game, which should naturally lead to us landing this selection.
