This is the horse for many like me, they are the undisputed greatest stayer we have ever seen on the flat for his consistency and for his return from a very serious injury. They say they don't come back but this lad has proven that saying wrong this season taking all before him going six wins from six runs.

For me he's an absolute certainty against old adversary Trawlerman and any colour of the 4/5 available looks an absolute gift to me. I can't see him beaten.

This horse defied relative inexperience at Leopardstown last time in the Champions Stakes. The ground was plenty quick enough for him, but he was trapped out wide on the track in a race that turned into a sprint on his first run in Group One company and he had to knuckle down to get the job done too.

This race will be much more suited to him and the experience he garnered at Leopardstown, and mode testing underfoot conditions I find it hard to see him beaten. He rates a very strong bet.

This horse is still very unexposed with just the six career runs to his name to date, but he has never run a bad race. He was mugged last time when collared in the dying strides in the Irish Cambridgeshire at the Curragh. He's gone up 4lbs in the ratings since then, but I still think there's plenty room for improvement and this stiff mile up the straight at Ascot will suit him.

He also has no problem with testing ground and dare I say it he should be better for it. He looks sure to go close.
