Berkshire Winter Million Day 1 tips from Windsor Racecourse | Irish NH Tips
This horse was a prolific juvenile hurdler last season winning four of his five starts before finishing a fine third in the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Last season's juvenile form has been working out really well and while the mare results of his first two runs this season may be disappointing on the face of things, he progressed from Ascot to Cheltenham and the more ease in the ground the better he will be.
He hasn't had his ground yet this season, but he may well get something closer to what he wants here. He's still unexposed and has plenty of improvement left in him. He's a classy horse on his day and in against rivals with plenty miles on the clock, I'd be confident he will improve past them and could throw his hat into the Stayers hurdle picture maybe not as a winner but certainly one given his conditions who can run very well.
This lightly raced eight-year-old has plenty smart form in the book and from limited opportunities as well. He has had only eight lifetime starts which included a Grade Two bumper third at Aintree as well as a very solid runner in the big Novice Handicap Hurdle at Sandown. He's a big imposing chaser who has made a fine start over fences running with plenty credit at Chepstow on chase debut before getting off the mark here before Christmas.
This step up in trip is sure to suit and a mark of 125 looks a nice mark for him. He should take a lot of beating.
This lightly raced son of Walk In The Park is one you can usually set your clock by and has only once ever run a bad race. He won one of his three starts last season while only going down narrowly to Masaccio and Dysart Enos who are two decent yardsticks. He made a very pleasing return to action at Haydock this season when finishing second to a race fit rival in Steel Ally.
If he has improved for that experience, his first in a competitive handicap, he should be capable of dealing with this drop back in trip and looks a decent each way bet in what is a competitive race.
