There has been no doubting Dominic Solanke’s effort this season, but his output was not quite at the level expected of a £65m signing. That was until last weekend’s demolition job of Aston Villa and with Spurs at home to Ipswich, I am backing the former Bournemouth forward to continue his good form.
From an ex-Bournemouth forward to a current one, and although Evanilson needed time to adjust to life in the Premier League, goals against Aston Villa and Manchester City in successive weeks have seen him finally acclimatise. Therefore, I am backing him to score at Brentford this weekend.
If there is a difficult question surrounding the decision to hand Mohamed Salah a new Liverpool contract, his winning goal against Brighton may help the club find the answer. A scorer of important goals no doubt, and I have no doubt that he will find the net against Aston Villa this Saturday night.
